ABRASIVE BLASTING
Abrasive blasting (also referred to as sandblasting) is used to prepare steel work for coating and provide a profile for coatings to adhere to in the correct manner. It is also used to remove corrosion and previously applied coatings. We understand that the paintworks are only as good as the preparation which is why we do it to the highest standard.
At JP Corrosion Control we can use a range of blast medias to suit all type of surfaces including, Steel Grit, Garnet, Glass Bead and Soda.

COATING APPLICATION SERVICES
Industrial coatings are designed to prevent corrosion of steel and to prolong the lifespan of the materials to which they are applied. They may be applied using conventional, airless and manual techniques. At JP Corrosion Control we can apply a wide range of products and systems to suit the client's requirements. All coatings are applied to manufacturer specifications and standards and subject to rigorous quality control and assurance measures to ensure the highest quality is achieved.

QUALITY ASSURANCE
All Abrasive blasting and coating applications are performed to required standards, including national and client standards. This includes taking and recording blast profile measurements, atmospheric readings and paint measurements. This information is provided upon request to clients to ensure coatings have been applied correctly.
